The story of the Indian expatriate making
it big in his chosen field, with sheer determination and
hard work, is always inspiring. And you thought it’s just
Information Technology where the global Indian made his
mark. Meet our founder & chairman, Mr. K. Jay Gopal. Jay
Gopal is a postgraduate in engineering from UK, specializing
in building services engineering. He brings with him 24
years of international experience in building engineering
industry. He holds full memberships in London Chartered
Institution of Building Services Engineers (CIBSE) and
American Society of Heating Refrigeration Air Conditioning
Association (ASHRAE), and London Institution of Fire
Engineers (IFE). He is a certified UK Chartered Engineer as
well. He also acts in the capacity of internal auditor for
ISO 9001:2000. He got qualified from SGS, Switzerland.
Several years of international exposure in building industry
has made Jay Gopal truly an expert in design and
construction of ‘Green and Smart’ buildings emphasizing on
energy efficiency and internal environment quality control.
Jay Gopal has been involved in virtually all sectors of
building engineering industry for the past 24 years, viz.,
design, engineering, construction and maintenance. Now, he is all set to
bring in an international touch to the architectural
landscape of Kerala. For Jay Gopal, quality has always been
the watchword. He believes that the bar of quality needs to
be raised constantly. With Mr. K. Jay Gopal at the helm,
Unidesign will redefine the concept of real estate
